Board Position Information:

In April we recruit a new PTO board for the following school year. Here is some information on the positions:

President: Run meetings and coordinate with other board members and volunteers as necessary. You are not      responsible for running every event. Delegate and work with your team!

Vice President: Research and recommend PTO fundraisers for approval by the Board. These fundraisers may be run by the vice president or other volunteers. Ideal for two volunteers.

Treasurer: Maintain accurate financial records, including receipts and expenditures. Draft budget with Board input. We are seeking an assistant treasurer for next year to work along side the current treasurer.

Secretary: Take minutes at all meetings. These must be provided to the Board prior to the next meeting. Assemble and distribute the PTO Membership Directory.

Publicity Coordinator: Responsible for the newsletter, website and event promotion. Ideal for two volunteers.

Volunteer Coordinator: Coordinate with event chairs and school administration to recruit volunteers as needed. We have used Sign-Up Genius primarily, but are open to other    options. Ideal for two volunteers.

In addition, we are always looking for event chairs. Events change from year to year, but if you have a favorite event you’d like to see return next year and you are willing to head it up, please let us know. This is fun to do with a friend and you will have full support of the PTO Board.
